Rev Wilfred Png has begun to minister to the needs of the church. He has visited or met up with most of the members of the church and has taken over the pulpit ministry. The church celebrated her 16th Anniversary during the first week of August. The celebration was well attended by many prayer supporters and well wishers.
A monthly fellowship meeting of the men of the Church of God has been started. The men of the Church meets at different homes to fellowship, discuss vital issues pertaining the church and also strengthen the bonds of fellowship of the church.
The Women of the Church of God has also had their first meeting They met in the home of Sister Enid Ong in Jalan Limau Nipis. Enid and her husband has since left for Auckland where her husband Boon Kim has been transferred to by Singapore Airlines.
The Youth of the Church of God has also met twice. The first meeting was held at "Noah’s Ark," a Christian organised karaoke joint where Christian music and testimonies are heard over a cup of tea, coffee or cold drink. Their second meeting was at the home of a church friend over "B B Q." Both meetings were very well attended.
Rev. Neivelle Tan will be leaving for India in mid October for a series of Revival Meetings, Conferences and Bible camp. These meetings will be held near the Calcutta/Bangladesh border.
