We express our condolences to the family of Brother Robin Das and to the church in Bangladesh upon Brother Robin's death from bone cancer on July 26. (See a more complete story and tribute to this beloved church leader elsewhere in this magazine.)

Several individuals are now temporarily carrying Brother Robin's responsibilities until more permanent replacements can be chosen. Mr. Provat Das, chairman of the Administrative Council, has temporarily taken most of Brother Robin's responsibilities, except for the headmaster position at the school. This assignment is temporarily in the hands of Mrs. Sandhya Das. Please pray for both of these persons in their new responsibilities.

Pray also for the Lord to provide someone to assume oversight of the Bangladesh portion of the Kinderhilfswerk child sponsorship program of the German Church of God.

Former missionary to Bangladesh, Dr. Robert Clark spent the months of April and May visiting Bangladesh and parts of India (Calcutta, Cuttack, Siliguri, and Shillong). He was a great encouragement to the church, lending both counsel and prayer support.

Pray for the Church of God in Bangladesh in this time of transition and seeking of new leadership for the future of the national church.
