End of Stroke Proximity Sensor
HSI offers an optional solid state end of stroke sensor for its
line of linear actuators. The sensor consists of a Hall effect
device, which is activated by a rare earth magnet embedded in
the end of the internal lead screw.
The sensor features a compact profile, virtually unlimited cycle
life and a wide temperature compensated operating range (-55°
C to 150° C). It has a supply voltage range of 3.8 to 24
volts DC and a digital current sinking output of up to 20 mA.
An analog output option can be provided, as well as special cabling
and connectors.
Home position Indicator
HSI offers an optional home position indicator for its line of
linear actuators. The home position indicator mounts on the rear
sleeve of HSI's captive linear motors. This allows the user to
identify start, stop or home positions of the actuator.
Contacts can be normally open or normally closed. The contact
closure is repeatable to within one step position, identifying
linear movements down to 0.0005" per step. Multiple contact
switches are also available. Standard contact ratings are 1.0
Amp for 120 VAC or 28 volts DC. Operating temperature is -30°
C to +55° C.
